Rotting wood with paint. I'm slightly annoyed that bad focus almost ruins this shot, but the lines are so beautiful I really don't give a shit.
Old door. Positioning the giant crack in a satisfying way took some effort, but I'm really pleased with the way this shot turned out.
Exposed brickwork. I love how the red contrasts the yellow of the painted concrete wall, and how the whole thing resembles a wound.
Dry wood. Again, the lines in this shot really fascinate me. The colors are also just right, with the dead gray of the wood bringing bleakness to the otherwise kind of vibrant red wall. It's like death peeking through a gap in the curtains.
Rust on an anchor. The light in this shot is fantastic, the whole thing shines with sunlight which really brings out the amazing texture. The whole thing has been eaten away by seawater and left to rust like some bizarre cadaver. I'm also happy with the positioning of the lines in this shot.
